ROGER VITRAC

Roger Vitrac, born on November 17, 1899 in Pinsac (Lot) and died on January 22, 1952 in Paris, was a French playwright and poet. A surrealist from the beginning, he was excluded from the movement in 1928. He is associated with Dada theater and surrealist theater. With Antonin Artaud and Robert Aron, he founded the Théâtre Alfred Jarry, which would be an important vector of theatrical renewal.
