As this abundant table of contents shows, the journal of Léon-Paul Fargue enthusiasts wished to renew the tribute that had been paid to him in the past by Les Feuilles libres (1927). Its animator, Pierre Loubier, had therefore asked me for a contribution. The relations between Fargue and Jarry having been evoked by Julien Schuh, I devoted myself to Roger Vitrac, co-founder of the Théâtre Alfred-Jarry in his early days. In this capacity, he had necessarily become aware of the friendship between the adolescents Fargue and Jarry.
