"A Visit to the Garden of Desperides", Surrealismo siglo 21, Universidad de la Laguna, Tenerife (Spain), 2006, p. 344-357.
While Spanish researchers know perfectly well the ins and outs of surrealism, both in Spain and France, their relations with French colleagues remain very punctual, and their meetings are very rare. This is to say how much I was delighted to be invited to the days organized by the University of La Laguna, in the Canaries. This gave me the opportunity to revisit at leisure the botanical garden of Tenerife, evoked by André Breton in Mad Love. I even made it the subject of my intervention!
