"Joining Surrealism," Organon, Revista do Instituto de Letras da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, No. 22, 1994, "Aspectos do surrealismo," pp. 51-61.
The head of the French studies department at the Federal University of Porto Alegre had welcomed a number of surrealists from the ultimate generation. Then he had contacted me for the Mélusine journal. Finally, he programmed an issue of studies on the same subject in the journal Organon, which had the particularity of publishing texts directly in French. I therefore proposed to him this contribution on the young Pierre Unik and his way of entering the group. The chance of encounters had made me obtain contemporary documents, unpublished, preserved by one of his classmates.
