"The Lexicon in Aragon's Poetic Work: A Poet Well of France",
in Cécile Narjoux (coll.), Aragon's Language, "a constellation of words", Éditions universitaires de Dijon, 2011, p. 27-44.
About ten years ago, I decided, with the help of my brother Jacques, to digitize the entire poetic work of Aragon published by the Livre Club Diderot. For practical reasons, we had to stop at the year 1952, which some will regret. I then entrusted our work to the FRANTEXT database, which, according to its own standards, only processed the first part. Having undergone various changes in management, it simply broke off all contact with me.
Nevertheless, the public can benefit from the lexical treatments offered by the Nancy center, for what concerns the first volume of the poetic work, up to and including Le Paysan de Paris, in addition to certain later novels and collections, such as Les Voyageurs de l'impériale (data entry provided by the Hubert de Phalèse Research Center), Le Crève-cœur, Le Roman inachevé. In total, this involves 35,441 words or occurrences, while I have processed, for my part, a little more than 900,000.
