I introduce myself: Henri Béhar, class 60. Those who were born before the abolition of military service will understand me immediately. For those who belong to this class (or the previous ones), the Algerian war was the great affair of their life, whether they served in the active army or not, so much did the moral question arise for them. Because everyone knew that the colony's independence was inevitable, and that torture, which was only spoken of in whispers, was rotting the country's youth...

...For now, I will take up the question of surrealism in the Algerian war from a personal point of view...
