I don't think I'm mistaken if I say that, for the exhibition, my contribution bore the title "Ubu on Seine," due to the fact that the French Tobacco Board (SEITA) had its headquarters on the Quai d'Orsay at the time. And the fact is that Jarry's play would not have acquired such notoriety if it had not been produced in Paris first, with, each time, renowned interpreters...
