Volume Presentation
This work traces the process of (re-)invention of Dada, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s, among others by its very actors, and studies to what extent the impulses given by Dada are still relevant for today's aesthetic, literary and cultural analysis and debates. More than simple conference proceedings, the publication, structured in four volumes (Filiations, Exhibitions, Traces and Historiographies), is augmented with numerous documents (exhibition lists, publications, interviews) as well as certain subsequent contributions to the conference. Published following the eponymous international conference organized by Agathe Mareuge and Sandro Zanetti at the Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich, in 2016, on the occasion of Dada's centenary.
Edited by Agathe Mareuge and Sandro Zanetti.
