
ARTÜR HARFAUX
Artür Harfaux, born in Cambrai on May 29, 1906, died in Paris 12th on May 1, 1995, was a French draftsman, photographer and screenwriter. He met Maurice Henry at the Cambrai high school and met René Daumal, Roger Vailland, Roger Gilbert-Lecomte, the "Phrères simplistes" as they call themselves (1926). Artür Harfaux joined Paris in 1924 with Maurice Henry. Within the journal Le Grand Jeu, he conducted research on photography, with Aléatoires and Scène de la vie courante, Photomontage (1928).
In 1932, he left Le Grand Jeu to join André Breton's group.
En 1932, il quitte Le Grand Jeu pour rejoindre le groupe d'André Breton.
