Portrait de Jean-Yves Samacher

JEAN-YVES SAMACHER

Jean-Yves Samacher is an associate researcher at the University of Le Mans. After a course in classical and modern literature, he is preparing a doctorate in philosophy and epistemology at the University of Strasbourg. His work mixes several disciplines and is defined by their interdisciplinarity: literature, philosophy (aesthetics), psychoanalysis and social sciences. Directed by Michèle Aquien, then by Jacob Rogozinski, his thesis focused on 'the status of the work of art in Antonin Artaud and David Nebreda'. He has published several articles on Artaud. His current research is oriented towards poetry and arts, linking image, writing and bodily performances. He has participated in numerous international conferences, including 'The Contemporary Body' in Rio de Janeiro.
