VALEURS LUMINEUSES, EUROPE N° 777-78

PASSAGE EN REVUES

“LUMINOUS VALUES,” EUROPE, PIERRE REVERDY, NO. 777-78, JAN.–FEB. 1994, PP. 73-86.

Table of Contents: Pierre Reverdy – Poetry as an Act of Love by Mireille Loubeyre, The Face-to-Face with the Void by Jacques Gaucheron, Pierre Reverdy by Himself by Louis Thomas, Letter to René Bertelé by Pierre Reverdy, A Music of Shadow by Gérard Bocholier, The Lyricism of Reality by Michel Collot, From Rimbaud to Reverdy, The First Step That Helps by Jean Rousselot…

It seems that my lexicographical analysis of Reverdy’s use of vocabulary to express luminosity in his collected poems has drawn little attention from readers, since critics do not mention my contribution when referencing this issue of Europe! Therefore, here is the full text of my article. I acknowledge that the quotations are numerous, reflecting my aim to allow readers to discover this underappreciated poet from a very particular angle.
