within the framework of the Association for Research and Study of Surrealism (APRES) – Reception by Martine Lusardy

Saturday, October 19, 2019: Screening of Rémy Ricordeau's film: Prenez garde à la peinture … et à Francis Picabia (Seven Doc, Phares Collection, 2019, 100'), in the presence of the director. Debate with the director and Henri Béhar.

Saturday, November 9, 2019: Michel Maffesoli: From Surrealism to Postmodernity. Conference followed by an exchange with the audience.

Saturday, January 11, 2020:

3:30 – 4:15 PM: Fabrice Pascaud: André Breton and Astrology.

4:20 – 5:45 PM: Screening of Fabrice Maze's film: André Barbault: l'astrologie au cœur (Seven Doc, 2019, 60'). Debate moderated by the director and Fabrice Pascaud.

Saturday, February 8, 2020:

11:00 AM-6:00 PM: Study day on Elie-Charles Flamand: Poetry and Alchemy, directed by Henri Béhar and Françoise Py. With the participation of Obéline Flamand, Pierre Geste, Marc Kober, Jean-Clarence Lambert, Patrick Lepetit and Michel Passelergue.

Sunday, March 8, 2020: In the Company of Aimé Césaire, poems recited and sung by Bernard Ascal: conception and voice, Yves Morel: arrangements, trombone, accordina, keyboard, Delphine Franck: cello, voice.

This event is part of the 2020 Printemps des Poètes dedicated to Courage.

Due to current events and COVID-19, the following program is postponed sine die.

Saturday, March 14, 2020: Fernando Arrabal in performances by Wanda Mihuleac. In the presence of Arrabal. With the participation of Alejandra Jordan and Valentine Mizzi.

This homage to Arrabal is part of the 2020 Printemps des Poètes dedicated to Courage.

Saturday, April 4, 2020:

Study day on Charles Fourier directed by Henri Béhar and Françoise Py with the participation of Michel Maffesoli and René Schérer.

Presentation of the journal Les Cahiers Européens de l'Imaginaire, CNRS Editions, on the occasion of the publication of the latest issue on La Nuit.

Saturday, April 25, 2020: Study day on Louis Janover

11:00 AM – 4:30 PM: Study day on Louis Janover, directed by Henri Béhar, Michel Carassou and Françoise Py.

11:00 AM-12:30 PM: Introduction by Henri Béhar. Louis Janover: Why I agreed to come and hear people talk about me. Maxime Morel: Front Noir and Surrealism.

2:00-4:15 PM: Guillaume Louet: Encountering Louis Janover's work: poetic and political coherence. Georges Rubel: Daring to make art in Front Noir. Florian Langlais: A young person's perception of Front Noir today. Michel Carassou: Benjamin Fondane and Louis Janover: the same struggle. Round table with all speakers, moderator: Françoise Py.

Saturday, May 9, 2020: Picasso Poet by Georges Sebbag. Conference followed by a round table moderated by Georges Sebbag with Marie-Laure Bernadac, honorary general curator, Emmanuel Guigon, director of the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, Androula Michaël, art historian. Readings by Bernard Ascal.

Saturday, June 13, 2020: surprise program.

The three Study Days are organized with the support of Paris 8 University, Laboratory of Image Arts and Contemporary Art (AIAC), research team Aesthetics, Practice and History of Arts (EPHA).
