Jean-François Rabain: conference on Unica Zürn. Reading of Unica Zürn's correspondence with Henri Michaux and Hans Bellmer by Jean-François Rabain and Anne Szulmajster. Debate with Jean-François Rabain and Georges Bloess. Jean-François Rabain is an aesthetician, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He knew Unica Zürn when he was a young intern and developed a long friendship with her and Hans Bellmer. Unica Zürn is an extraordinary artist, between surrealism and outsider art, very contemporary in her autobiographical approach which passes through both image and text. Anne Szulmajster is a linguist (Collège de France, EPHE, INHA).

afternoon of theater and songs! The afternoon of Saturday, June 13 will include two one-hour parts. In the first part, Jean-Loup Philippe, author, actor and director, will perform some of his latest creations for us. In the second part, singer Aruna will take us on a journey through songs.
A close friend of Supervielle, Jean Tardieu and Henri Michaux, Jean-Loup Philippe has directed several of their texts with their collaboration. From 1956 to 1960, he played "Tea and Sympathy" with Ingrid Bergman, occupying the two leading roles with her. He has also acted in numerous plays as well as in about twenty films. In the early sixties, he created, with Jean-Clarence Lambert, the Domaine Poétique to promote, after the futurists and Dada, experimental sound poetry. He thus programmed for numerous shows and performances, within the Domaine Poétique, Gherasim Luca, Bernard Heidsieck and Robert Filliou, his close collaborators and friends.
Aruna is an extraordinary singer with a deep and warm voice, quite exceptional. Leaving her native Béarn at the age of 16, she traveled and sang with the gypsies who adopted her. She travels the world, particularly India and Latin America, and sings for the most disadvantaged audiences. She has just returned from Mexico where she completed a six-month humanitarian mission, singing in prisons, hospitals, and impoverished neighborhoods. Her repertoire includes her own songs as well as the most beautiful French, Spanish, and South American songs. In the vein of a Mercedes Sosa, she brings forgotten chants to life. She accompanies herself on guitar, an instrument she plays instinctively, with gypsy accents. (You can hear two of her songs on YouTube at Free Live Sessions). A friendship drink at the end of the show will allow us to extend the exchanges. Come in large numbers!
