For ten years, an issue of the European Journal of the Imaginary, founded by Gilbert Durand and Michel Maffesoli, has been published annually. Each explores a theme (Barbarism, love, travel, eating together, the Fake, technomagic, etc.) with original contributions from visual artists, writers, anthropologists, historians, scientists... of various nationalities.
Issue 10 "The Night" analyzes the nocturnal regime of contemporary imagination, with contributions from Jean-Pierre Luminet, astrophysicist, Michel Maffesoli, Françoise Py, images from Mustafa Sabbaghk, Sylvette Gassan, and others. The night, a singular place, populated by ghosts and monsters, but also the night as revelation, black light.
