"L.-F. Céline persecuted persecutor", Actuel Quillet 1994, pp. 172-178.
This encyclopedic article responds to a publisher's commission, to which I responded all the more easily as I had just spent several months working on Louis-Ferdinand Céline's work, whose Journey to the End of the Night had been included in the French Literature agrégation program for 1993. As for the publicity that was made of it, one can well imagine that it is not from the author! I have just listened to Philippe Colin's 10-episode series "Louis-Ferdinand Céline the journey without return" (see below). In addition to recently acquired knowledge, it poses very well the problem of the current reception of the writer, as I had approached it thirty years ago. Céline is indeed responsible for the totality of his work! Impossible to set aside a part of it, despite what his heirs think.
