BISSIÈRE

Roger Bissière, born on September 22, 1886 in Villeréal (Lot-et-Garonne) and died on December 2, 1964 in Boissièrette (commune of Marminiac in the Lot), was a French painter of the new School of Paris. He is the eldest of the generation of artists who brought non-figurative painting to light in the 1950s.
