
ROGER VAILLAND
Roger Vailland, born in Acy-en-Multien (Oise) on October 16, 1907 and died on May 12, 1965 in Meillonnas (Ain), was a French writer, essayist, war correspondent and screenwriter. His work includes nine novels, essays, plays, film scripts, travel journals, poems, a diary and numerous newspaper articles written throughout his life.
