ROBERT DESNOS

Robert Desnos was a French surrealist poet and resistance fighter, born on July 4, 1900 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris and died of typhus on June 8, 1945 at the Theresienstadt concentration camp in Czechoslovakia, one month after his liberation by the Red Army on the last day of the war.
