PIERRE MABILLE

Pierre Mabille was a French doctor and writer, born on August 2, 1904 in Reims, died on October 13, 1952 (at age 48) in Paris. Professor at the School of Anthropology in Paris, he was close to André Breton, surrealism, and notably the doctor of Man'ha Garreau-Dombasle. He was an adept of hermeticism and defender of the imaginary, and his works are at the crossroads of anthropology, sociology, poetry and medicine. Described by André Breton as a "man of great counsel", he attempts in his books an approach to the totality of man and civilizations
