ANNE-MARIE AMIOT

Anne-Marie Amiot is professor emeritus of Modern and Contemporary French Literature at the University of Nice. Her field of study covers both the 19th and 20th centuries. She has published Baudelaire et l'illuminisme (Nizet, 1982), as well as articles on 19th century poets: Hugo, Nerval or Mallarmé. Her studies on the 20th century have two parts: one concerns Camus's work; the other, studies on Surrealism (Breton, Tzara, Ribemont-Dessaignes, Julien Gracq, Desnos, Eluard, Aragon). On R. Roussel, she has published: Un mythe moderne, " Impressions d'Afrique " (Minard, 1977), as well as numerous articles. Still at Minard, in collaboration with Christelle Reggiani, she directs the Raymond Roussel Series.
